Great lunch mid July 2023. Lovely location north of Copparo heading towards the River Po. Beautifully restored building with various dining areas which avoids the poor acoustics from which many restaurants suffer (or the diners do). Efficient and professional service, good wine list to accompany many lovely delights. As dinner was planned further north for later we had a wonderful fritto misto and a tasty Sicilian style pasta, oh and couldn't resist the delicious puds. To be recommended and revisited - only 45 minutes from home.
Very very beautiful structure, finely renovated farmhouse style with excellent details and finishes. The food is excellent as is the comfort, the staff are kind and attentive.
Excellent experience.
The structure also has a nice private outdoor car park and a very well-kept park, excellent for events such as weddings.
The context is authentic rustic, very well cared for both inside and outside.
The food is genuine, well-balanced and studied dishes. I ate a vegetable soup with pasta and an Oscar-worthy donkey polenta.
The waitresses are very attentive, quick and reserved.
I'll be back.
Between Ferrara and Rovigo (Copparo towards Ro Ferrarese) a historic restaurant built inside the former convent of the nearby fourteenth-century parish church surrounded by the extensive plain.
We hadn't booked as we were passing through, but they welcomed us anyway.
The pinzini are fantastic to enjoy while waiting for the dishes, rich in taste, flavors and colours.
Very very beautiful structure, finely renovated farmhouse style with excellent details and finishes. The food is great.
Excellent experience.
Beautiful place in the heart of the countryside between Copparo and Salatta with the gem of the parish church of San Venanzio guarding everything.
Very well organized wedding, really good food and excellent choice of wines.
Service to improve
One of the best restaurants in the area. TOP quality. I recommend it for parties and dinners with numerous people. The service is a little slow and could be improved but it's busy in the evenings. The fish-based dinners are truly excellent in both quality and cost!
